today i want to share or teach you how to setup a web server (Lamp Server), we will use Ubuntu Server.
first, we need to download the latest version of Ubuntu Server. after you download it. lets get started.
This are the basic steps in installing Ubuntu Server.
- Boot the system from the CD-ROM drive.
- At the boot prompt you will be asked to select the language.
- Select 'basic server install'.
- Enter appropriate options for language, keyboard layout, network configuration, hostname and timezone.
- You can then choose from several options to configure the hard drive layout. There are many ways disk layout can be configured.
- The Ubuntu base system is then installed.
